Keep Your Immune System Healthy

As the very welcome fall weather approaches, with cooler evenings and hopefully some rain, it is important to keep our immune systems healthy. Weather changes and other stresses that come about this time of year with school, holidays, etc. can impact our bodies in many ways. It is always important to have a balanced diet consisting largely of fresh vegetables and fruit, lean protein, and lots of water. It is even more important during times of stress and weather changes to avoid sugar and empty carbohydrates as much as possible. Drinking green tea, getting enough whole vitamin C from good foods, and taking some Immuplex or Echinacea-C as a precautionary measure are all good ways to support a healthy immune system. Of course, making sure you are free of nerve interference by having regular adjustments is also very important as is getting adequate sleep. There is no good time to get sick, so take good care of yourself and your family.
